Integrating Activity 2021

I make art because in a world that feels completely empty of meaning, all I can do is what makes me happy. Nothing makes me happier than creating. I didn't always draw, but since I learnt that it was something that I really enjoyed, it has become something incredibly important in my life. My sketchbooks have become a safe place for me to go if I ever need an escape. In creating the drawings for this project, I set no boundaries for how I wanted it to look. I tried to create with pure emotions to stop myself from thinking too much. It is probably one of the most personal things i've ever made, and I think it works perfectly with the theme of self-reflection. I hope it inspires you as much as it does me.
