Artist Statement

Happiness, sadness, rage, fear, confusion… The versatile art of cinema offers a wonderful and wide range of possibilities when it comes to the immersion of its audience to make them feel emotions. Just like in Delirium, that follows the short horror story of Sophia, a young and troubled girl struggling to keep in contact with reality and her identity on what’s seemingly a normal afternoon. Through the use of close ups, auditory and visual sound effects is built a suspense that leads the viewer to an unpredictable, creepy ending. Before Sophia comes back in touch with reality, it’s already too late…
