I first stepped into a classroom when I was two years old. Since then, most of my time has been dedicated to reaching academic excellence. I was a stranger to passions beyond a scholarly context, until I discovered my drive to analyze, create, and perform music. From that moment on, I aspired to become more than just a “good student”. I wanted to be able to call myself an artist. Unfortunately, the arrival of the Coronavirus pandemic tainted my dreams, making it difficult to imagine my future as the one I so much desired. “Lucid Living” is a 3-minute musical piece reflecting on my dreams and aspirations in an uncertain world, where, through a spoken word and song, I express the difficulties of no longer being passionate as a result of the lockdown.
